We’ve featured big dealer discounts on Kawasaki’s supercharged H2 family before, and also on the sport-tourer SX, which is arguably the best of the bunch, especially in top spec, semi-active suspension SE trim. But this one at leading dealer Robinson’s of Rochdale also now includes Kawasaki’s own ‘Kustomise Your Ride’ promotion, worth £3000, which, when added to the dealer’s own discount adds up to a whopping saving of £5150. Or, to put it another way, when you’d previously have been paying £25,649 for this fully loaded SE, you can now get it for £20,499!

Save £4756 on Triumph’s Speed Triple 1200 RR
Another huge saving thanks to a big dealer discount can be found at Bristol dealer Fowlers who are currently offering a number of pre-registered but otherwise brand new, 0-mile examples of Triumph’s fabulous, half-faired, ‘café racer’ version of its Speed Triple 1200 with a full £4756 off the previous price. It’s available in both white or red and that monster discount takes the British bike’s price down from the previous £18,250 to now just £13,494 – but at that price you’d better be quick!

Save £3000 on KTM’s 1290 Super Duke R Evo
Another big discount to be had on a top drawer ‘super naked’ – but this time with a bit of a difference. KTM has just fully-updated its range-topping Super Duke into 1390 form which means that dealers are keen to offload any old sold 2023 1290 versions – as is the case here. This one is being offered by Peterborough KTM specialists Gear4 motorcycles, is their last example of the top spec R Evo version and is currently being offered with a full three grand off its usual price, so taking it down from the previous £18,499 to now just £15,499.

Get £2000 off this Kawasaki Versys 1000 SE
While, finally for this week, how about another bargain big bore Kawasaki – but this time a hugely versatile adventure tourer version? 5Ways motorcycles in Northampton is also currently offloading some of its unsold 2023 stock and among them is this top spec SE version of the Versys 1000. Being an SE means it has semi-active suspension, fancy paint and all the electronics while, also being the Grand Tourer version, also means it has a full luggage set and more. The best bit, though, is that’s it’s also being discounted by a full £2000 taking its price down from the previous £15,563 to now just £13,563!

Get this Ducati Multistrada 1260 with £3298 off
Great dealer discounts aren’t just reserved for brand new bikes – as this trio from used bike specialists Superbike Factory proves. Take, for example this Ducati Multistrada 1260. The new V4 has had the effect of overshadowing how brilliant the preceding V-twin was – and also means it can now be something of a used bargain, as is the case here. It’s on a 2018-plate, has covered just 16,555 miles, is in excellent condition in sober grey colours and has just been reduced by a whopping £3298 so taking its price down from £11,991 to now just £8693 – and there is even free delivery thrown in!

Save £2808 on this Aprilia RSV4
Another often overlooked bike is Aprilia’s brilliant V4 superbike, the RSV4 – and again that can often also make it something of a used bike bargain, as is the case here. Used bike specialists Superbike Factory have just reduced this 2019 69-plate example by a massive £2808 which takes its price down from the previous £13,391 to now just £10,583. That’s right, under £11K for a low mileage (7694 miles), mint example of 200bhp Italian exotica. And, if that isn’t enough, they’re also offering free delivery!

Save £2202 on this Harley-Davidson Street Glide
While finally for this week another example of ‘best of breed’ biking being offered at a bargain price. Harley-Davidson’s Street Glide remains the definitive example of the US style bagger with its panniers, fairing and cruiser style and remains one of the best-selling bikes of its type. All of which makes this virtually as-new used example, currently being offered by used bike specialists Superbike Factory, which is on a 69-plate, has covered just 3637 and just been reduced by £2202 so taking its price down from £16,486 to just £14,282 (complete again with free delivery) a hugely tempting buy.

Here’s another great adventure style bike that can currently be had for a song – but one you might not normally expect. Charismatic Italian heritage brand Moto Guzzi is revered for its long family of transverse, shaft-drive V-twins and one of its best and most popular models is the V85TT, which is a sort of adventure tourer but with a hefty dollop of retro style. Save £1800 on Yamaha’s Tracer 9 GT+
One of the best bikes bar none of 2023 was Yamaha’s significantly improved and uprated version of its already hugely popular three-cylinder sports-tourer, the Tracer 9 GT. The new GT+ version not only came with panners, adjustable screen and the brilliant 119bhp CP3 engine, but also Yamaha’s first radar-controlled rider assist system, which provided not only radar-guided cruise control but also radar-assisted braking, not to mention a slick new TFT dash and all-new switchgear. While, finally for this week, this may now be as big a dealer discount as some, but when the bike concerned is already under £5K it makes a huge difference – especially when you’re starting out on two wheels. Dealer Laguna in Kent is currently offering one of the best 125s of all – KTM’s 125 Duke – with a full £800 off its list price, so taking it down from the previous £4799 to now just £3999 which, when you’re 17, on an A1 licence and every penny counts not just towards your bike but also insurance, petrol, riding kit and more, is a huge and very welcome saving.

- The second star will be Gordon May, an author and a man who is no stranger to epic touring on classic machines. Most famed for his ‘Overland to India’ trip in 1988, he travelled 7000kms on his Royal Enfield Bullet, two-up, loaded, and the bike never missed a beat! May will be on stage talking tales of his trips across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas.
- Last but not least, Kempton Park Autojumble founder, AMA speed record holder and all-round die-hard classic bike fan Eric Patterson will take to the stage! Eric will be talking about his exploits on the Bonneville Salt flats as he chased down land speed records on his Brough Superior. One of the fastest men on the planet in his day, Patterson will no doubt wow the crowds with his tales of daring do. It’s not just about pinning the throttle you know…
The Kempton Park Classic Bike Show and Autojumble will also have a bevy of awards to hand out, as the judges check over all the classic bikes at the show to find the elusive recipient of the ‘Best in Show’, plus much more!
