Shoei have today unveiled a rather special limited-edition helmet. Just 666 of the top-of-the-range X-Spirit III’s will be available that are exact replicas of Isle of Man TT Superstock race winner, Peter Hickman, albeit he only wears the Trooper helmet in the Supersport class. The helmet has been revealed at an exclusive event at the TT for Bennetts policy holders.
Priced at £799.99, the special livery on the Hickman Trooper Helmet is dominated by Trooper beer, the official beer of legendary rock band Iron Maiden, sponsors of the TT rider and his Smiths Racing team. The individually numbered helmets can be collected in person at Motorcycle Live in November at a special party where Hickman will hand them over to their new owners. There's a hot rumour the band could be represented too but we'll have to wait and see. The helmet even comes in an exclusive Trooper Limited Edition Box Set with a Trooper merchandise goody bag including a limited edition A3 Trooper canvas art print encased in a printed metal presentation tin and pint glass.
Insurance policy holders from Bennetts, the British Superbike title sponsor and official insurance partner of the Isle of Man TT, are the first to be able to pre-order the helmets at an event held at the Isle of Man TT attended by the BSB and TT race winner.
